Tea for Two

I think I have the mommy bug, and it's compounded by my love-of-all-things-handmade bug. Together they just elicited a squeal of delight when I saw this.


That, my friends, is a damn FELT tea set. Too perfect. Too cute. Too tempting even though I am years from a baby and can't actually sew well.

Not a Bad Average

This morning I happily slipped my feet into my new shoes. They look a lot like these.


I was thrilled because they are comfy, neutral and I like em. About noon they started to really rub my feet. Fifteen minutes later I was looking down to see if blood was running off my toes. What the hell?!

Fifteen minutes after that I was the owner of a totally unnecessary, but too flaterring and too cheap to pass up, black maxi dress. It sort of looks like this.


I've now got one bandaid protecting the worst victimized part of my foot. And I'm pondering if the shoes are cursed or simply need to be worn in.

All in all, I think I'm shooting a 50% for the day. And I'm pretty darn happy about that.
